Alexis’ Goals for HOA
Prior to the board of directors election in mid 2021, Alexis worked up a comprehensive list of goals to share with homeowners and residents. They are:
Goals for the HOA board
- The board is reliable, responsive and, above all else, honest.
- The board of directors should be easily accessible to all homeowners, not operating in a bubble.
- Individuals who serve on the board are not above the bylaws.
- The board will engage with its property management company, Goodwin & Co. and hold it to the highest standard of service, whether it’s for projects in the community or requests from homeowners.
30-60-90 day plan
30 days
- Understand the outstanding items from the previous board
- Purchase domain name and creation of email addresses for board members to help communication with homeowners
- Meet the board – a Saturday morning get-together at the mailbox with coffee and donuts
60 days
- Launch of a new community resource website
- BBQ cook off (a meet and greet event)
- Get house numbers painted on the sidewalks in front of homes to help first responders and delivery drivers locate correct homes
90 Days
Plans for the holiday season, including:
- Halloween
- Diwali
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year
First quarterly HOA board meeting (either in person or online)
