Upcoming Potluck Dinner: Food for Thought

Alexis Maindrault, the HOA president, posted a reminder a couple of days ago about the upcoming meet-your-neighbors potluck on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. on Circuit Lane. In case you’re on the fence about coming or not sure what to bring, here’s some food for thought (yes, terrible pun intended).

WHAT TO BRING

Bring what’s special to you. Because we live in a diverse community, with people from around the world, we’re encouraging you to bring a food dish that’s special to you, your family, or your heritage — something that’s easy to make and won’t stress you out. It can be a main dish, side dish, appetizer, or dessert.
To help with planning, let us know what you’re bringing. Drop a note in comments or email hoapresident@austinsilverstone.us.

A FEW HELPFUL TIPS

  • If you are bringing food, have your dish or side ready to serve. Plates and plasticware will be provided.
  • Label your dish and utensils (or cooler) with your name in case you leave early or just stop by.
  • The potluck is BYOB. Bring a favorite beverage for yourself or to share with neighbors.
The weather forecast is delightful: no rain, in the high 60s, and it’s shaping up to be the first crisp evening of the Fall. Stop by and break bread with your neighbors.
We look forward to seeing you.
